Overview

"Environments" in CommandK represent the various environments your application code is deployed to. A secret can have different values for each environment.

Environment Management

Each CommandK account comes pre-configured with environments to help you get started. However, you can create as many custom environments as you wish to mirror your infrastructure.

Each environment has a name and type. Type can be either Production, Staging, Development, or Sandbox. You can have multiple environments of various types. You can set global access policies based on the type of the environment.

Environments are managed centrally. Thus, any environment defined centrally is available for all the Apps.

Secret Values

For each secret created under an app, you can assign different values for each environment.
